Our Mission: Preservation

Vinings is truly a unique place, anchored by the historic white clapboard buildings along Paces Mill Road.

Vinings Historic Preservation Society's reason for existence and its mission is to preserve three of these iconic buildings.

Pace House (1865-1874)  National Register of Historic Places
Old Pavilion (1874)
Yarbrough House (1880)  Cobb County Historic Landmark

We are passionate about the properties entrusted to our care. We believe they represent the best of Vinings.

Preserving historic buildings isn’t cheap, though. We have no endowments, but depend on money from memberships, fundraising events, venue rentals and donations.

We also rely on talented and hard-working volunteers, and the support of Vinings residents and businesses.

Won't you join us? There are many ways you can help sustain Vinings Village – for all of us.
